A DISCO, FOR YOUR FACE AND MASK
Co-Founder + Creative Director
Identifying an emerging trend in the accessory marketplace, we launched DiscoChains, a line of sunglass chains, in the Spring of 2019. There is nothing subtle about DiscoChains, and the line needed a brand to match the energy of the product. The identity pops with bold character, inspired by the spirit of Studio 54 and confidence of 80's pantsuits.
As Creative Director across every touchpoint, I worked with my co-founder to build a brand identity as playful as the product itself and continuous campaigns + content for new product drops.
VOLUME 1: DISCO ORIGINALS [2019]
We launched DiscoChains at the beginning of 2019 with a bold and playful brand identity. Each chain maintains the naming structure of the brand but adds a level of personality to each SKU. The infamous studio headshots and power suits of the 1980s inspired our launch photoshoot which was styled exclusively with vintage.
VOLUME 2: GLAMTOWN [2020]
For our second product launch, we wanted to uplevel material from acrylic. Volume 2 from DiscoChains featured new iridescent glass beads, which shimmer like a true disco ball. For this product launch campaign, we wanted to bring the late-night spirit of Studio 54 to life while also featuring our new product use as mask-chains in a groovy way.
VOLUME 3: WEST COAST GROOVE [2021]
After years of requests for wooden chains, we launched the SanyChain and EarthChain in the summer of 2021. Inspired by DiscoChains new home in Los Angeles, Volume 3 drew inspiration from 1970s California.
